Humble People Are Becoming Rare

It is mostly out of people with big egos that heroes are made
And for them there has been many a street parade
And sadly it is not saying anything that is new
That the egotistical of the World are not of the few
So many to the World have their own success stories to tell
In the twenty first century the look at me syndrome is alive and quite well
The humble of mind are becoming more rare
Of attention so many seek more than their fair share
The promotion of self nowadays is the in thing
So many their own praises only too willing to sing
In the age of technology narcissism is rife
The internet has given it a new life
Humble people are becoming rare in the Human World of today
And this in itself seems a sad thing to say.
