But it takes a braver man by far to walk downtown in a dress
Wearing lipstick and makeup his shoulder length hair dyed green
No braver a man in the town than him has been
We all know too well about people in their words they can be cruel
But it does not seem to bother him public ridicule
It does take great courage for a man in public to do such a thing
But of his praises for his bravery you will not hear many sing
For him there will never be a street parade
Though the greatest of courage in public he has displayed
For all of the wrong reasons the talk of the town
Yet it is people like he is who break barriers down
He will never become the town's man of the day
And for him there will never be a loud hooray.
