Yet a person who did lead a good life
Helped anybody of helping in need
People like him sad to say a rare breed
Six years ago on the day of his burial a huge turnout
Of how he was loved this left none in doubt
All of the poor of the town they were there
And to further swell numbers many people from elsewhere
One of the true gentlemen of the town
In his words he never put anyone down
To the local homeless he was such a good friend
On him for help they could always depend
One who did a lot of good when alive
In his memory there is Mickeldoo Drive
With those doing it tough he was willing to share
People like John Mickeldoo are so rare.
