When Compared To Many Others

Though you are not hungry or homeless or have ever slept rough
You does believe that life on you is tough
And though not one of the wealthy you are not financially down
Like many who live on the poor side of the town

Though the praises of peoor people few bother to sing
Poverty in itself is a relative thing
When compared to many others financially you are doing quite okay
Though you are one who does not see it this way

You do have a job though not good take home pay
And your family you can financially support something everyone cannot say
In many ways you are lucky as luck goes indeed
Of anything you and your wife and children are not in need

You do believe that life is quite tough on you
But that life does not owe anyone anything happens to be true
The hungry and the homeless are living in earthly hell
And compared to them you are doing quite well.
