Nowadays self promotion does seem an in thing
And many their own praises only too willing to sing
Self praise is no praise as a wise one did say
Though many do not seem to see it in this way
At community meetings when the town's aspirational does meet
So many for attention with each other compete
That the humble are in minority cannot be denied
This look me virus has spread Worldwide
Sad to think that most of the humble nowadays are strangers to success
And those who are humble few seem to impress
Narcissism becoming popular in the Human World of today
And this is a sad thing for to have to say
