Stealing From The Government

If your taxes to the government you do not pay
The law may have you in prison for quite a long stay
For to steal from the government is seen as a very serious crime
And for a similar offense against an individual seen worthy of longer prison time
In this respect little difference between a democratically elected and a government run by the military
Those who are caught cheating are not shown any leniency
The law always seem to treat stealing from the government than stealing from an individual as a far more serious crime
And is deemed to be worthy of far longer prison time
The law for people caught cheating on the government little sympathy does show
In a long prison sentence since they are made an example of so that others will come to know
That stealing from the government is taken as a serious offense
But some people pay in the hard way for a bit of common sense
If you steal from the government your price is high to pay
But when they steal from you by deception with them this is okay.
