There is beauty around us every day for to see
A magpie is warbling high on a tall tree
And the yellow billed dark feathered songsters of Spring
So lovely for to hear the male blackbirds sing
In Nature there is beauty to see every day
A beauty for to view we do not have to pay
Like all other creatures to Nature we belong
Though some people will tell you this thinking is wrong
Nature the artists and writers inspire
And of singing her praises it does seem hard to tire
Of her every day we do learn something new
For to realize this there are far more than a few
The contented cattle chewing their cuds do lay
In the prime of September on a southern Spring day.
