To it there is always a joyful ring
Laughter it is such a wonderful thing
One has to feel for the sad sacks of the town
Never smiling and looking sad and feeling down
In their lives laughter they do live without
And perhaps they have things for to feel sad about
Though they are the people few of wish to know
Since sadly they do lack in the inner glow
Others wish to know of those who are carefree
The people that laughter comes to easily
Laugh and the whole world will laugh with you
Is an old truism that remains ever true
Lucky are they of them one can say
Who even in their tough times do laugh every day.
