Though in their early twenties they do have the minds of boys
Their car stereos blaring loud as they race up and down
Their swollen egos on display on the streets of the town
They like to draw attention to themselves in their public ego show
Like young roosters in a backyard competing for the loudest crow
With whose car has the loudest rev with each other they compete
The noise is always loudest where the big egos meet
Their young women in the back seat cheering and laughing loud
For their numbers they create more noise than a noisy football crowd
They are the town's noisemakers making noise they enjoy
Their six cylinder engine revving quite an expensive toy
Friday evening in the country town they have drawn their weekly pay
Cocky young men in their twenties some as boys seem to stay.
