More creatures becoming endangered of extinction every day
More birds and animals dispossessed where old growth trees are cut down
To make room for industrial development in every city and town
For future generations of people fewer of Nature's life forms for to see
And a sad thing to even contemplate would you not agree
Of the needs of the creatures we share the Planet Earth with many of us humans do not seem aware
This World is for us to respect and live in and with other creatures for to share
The beauty our Mother Earth creates for us is not for us to destroy
A beauty that future generations of people will not have to enjoy
Due to our greed the children of the future may only know of a silent Spring
And even to say this is such a sad thing
In an age when the lust for money gives rise to human greed
Of more friends of the Earth we are badly in need.
