That pride is a thing that can come before a fall
Far too proud to seek help though of helping you are in need
Just one of the many sides of pride indeed
Pride has a sibling it's name is vain
On what they stand for as close they remain
Vanity in many ways is so closely allied
That it can be quite hard to distinguish from pride
Too vain to age in the natural way
With hair dye some do cloak their ageing gray
And with anti ageing creams smooths the wrinkles on their hands and face
So many refuse for to age in grace
Something of most people would be aware
Vanity and pride much in common does share
All of us humans are flawed in some way
Not one perfect person is living today.
