He was a good person in every way
But the man i married Ted to me and our daughter Lucy was so cruel
It was by fear that our lives he did rule
He often beat me and young Lucy as well
And of him she has no good stories to tell
Lucy now twenty two and doing well in life
Vows to any man she will never be a wife
For the man who abused Jane and her daughter she could not feel grief
News of his passing to her was a sense of relief
Jane a pretty woman in her fifties in her brown hair some gray
Works as a bank teller with good take home pay
My late dad was a gentle and good man she does say
But not many of his sort in the World of today.
