In life we never stop learning in truth one can say
And of Nature we learn something new every day
This morning i watched two magpie larks from their territory trying to drive a brown goshawk away
They did recognize it as a bird of prey
Those who talk of bird brained do not know what they are on about
Some birds can be quite intelligent of this little doubt
As a bird of prey the brown goshawk they did recognize
Birds are far more intelligent than most people seem to realize
As birds of aggression magpie larks do not highly rate
Most other species in their territory they do tolerate
But the sight of a bird of prey puts them on the offense
Birds can be quite intelligent and are not short on common sense
They did recognize their natural enemy
And eventually succeeded in driving the brown goshawk from their territory.
