Of Late Life On You

 Of late life on you has become rather tough

And though you are not homeless or hungry and do not have to sleep rough

You are unemployed due to C O V I D-19

And financially this is the worst off you have ever been

Trying to support a wife and two young daughters on government welfare

On these times of C O V  I  D your sort are not rare

The numbers of the unemployed of late has grown

So many like you out of  work due to no fault of their own

Every day for a new job start you do apply

As of yet no luck for you though hard you do try

But you are not one for to give up on hope

And with tough financial times you are one who can cope

Financially times for you not good of late

And little in life for you to celebrate

For support three people on you do rely

That life for many can have it's hard times none ought to deny.
