Aubane In June

The sweet scent of grass mowed for silage or hay
In the meadows of Aubane in view of Mushera today
The sun intermittently peeps from behind clouds of gray
For to describe such amazing natural beauty there are not words to say
The voice of the migratory cuckoo quite pleasant to hear
Aubane is at her finest in June of the year
Dark barn swallows in pursuit of flying insects chirping as they fly
To and fro all day long across the summery sky
A poet of such natural beauty would write
A poem for lovers of Nature to enjoy and read and recite
The valley of Aubane at her finest in her Summer green
Between Mushera and Tullig hill rare beauty to be seen
The contented cattle on lush grass chewing their cuds do lay
In a beautiful place on a warm June day.
