I leave it to those who feel worthy of literary note
To lay claim to the honourable title of poet
I only write rhymes of the beauty i see
Nature's beauty that is everywhere all around me
One does find new rhymes in Nature every day
The afternoon sky may look gloomy and gray
As time on old Autumn keeps ticking away
One might say quite typical weather for May
The warbling flute like songs always pleasant to hear
Of the magpies who sing every day of the year
The brown Autumn leaves drifting down from every deciduous tree
As the magpie larks sing their familiar pee wee
Though my worth as a rhymer i have reason to doubt
Never shortage of things for to write rhymes about.
