There are times you are happy and times you are sad
In life you must take the good days with the bad
We know of times of laughter and sorrow and tears
In life we have the good and the not so good years
Those who are always happy are quite a rare breed
One can say of them that they are lucky indeed
And those reasonably happy in life doing okay
Though you are never alone on having a bad day
Today some of the happiest people in the town
In the recent past felt despondent and down
We have our happy and sad times life is this way
Everyday for you will not be a good day
There are times you are happy and times you are sad
In life you must take the good times with the bad.
