It Would Not Be This Way

Those who speak out for minorities many may criticize
But those who look down on those different fail to realize
That they too like them have a last night and day
And the clock on their lives ever ticking away
We have prejudiced people mostly for to thank
For these blights on humanity racism and social rank
These are things that humanity is not of in need
And without them the World would be better indeed
Any words of praise of life's reaper one never does hear
But the one who makes all people equal is the one all people fear
And those who speak out for minorities hope for better to humanity bring
But so few of their praises ever bother to sing
The news revolves around royals and celebrities every day
In an equal Human World it would not be this way.
