The sun it is shining in a sky blue and gray
On the first of October near the prime of the Spring
The wild birds of Nature chirp, whistle and sing
The coastal Moyne Shire at it's finest to be seen
The paddocks are looking lush, healthy and green
With the warmth of Summer to the coastal lands near
The weather quite warm even for the time of year
A weather temperature high for the day of twenty two degrees
With a freshening coolness in the coastal breeze
Wildflowers blooming in the paddocks after the recent rain
With such pleasant weather how could one complain
Between Warrnambool City and Koroit Town
Of the Moyne Shire surely a gem in the crown
Earthly Utopia cannot be too far away
