The Power To Do Good

To be kind and caring is never a sin
But the power to live as a better person can only come from within
In the karma of life we reap what we sow
The seed of a weed to a flower never grow
The longest lived human life as time goes not a long span
A few years more for a woman than it is for a man
On average in years of three score and ten
And death for us all the final earthly amen
Though many who live as good people their names never on any memorial wall
For their kindness they will be remembered with fondness since in them nothing small
Though of more of their sort the Human World is in need
For their future good karma they always plant the good seed
To be kind and compassionate is never a sin
But the power to do good can only come from within.
