If you live nearby you need not take your car
On Saturday evening at the local public bar

Of women they have slept with they does like to boast
And to their sexual prowess like drinking a toast
They do not need a boost to their self esteem
That we are what we think we are is how it does seem

That self professed local young male heroes are not of the few
Is not saying anything that is in any way new
Nowadays so many young males their own praises does sing
In the early twenty first century this is their in thing

In their stories of their recent successes each other they try to outdo
As they try to convince each other I am better than you
Though self praise is no praise as the wise one does say
These cocky young males does not see it this way

In the barroom of the bowling or the football club
Or on Saturday evening at the local pub
The town's cocky young male heroes do like to meet
And for who is the best bragger they always compete.
