That they are clever birds of them i only know
Australia's little raven or otherwise the pale eyed crow
Where i live they are birds i do see every day
They are good at surviving of them one can say
On stick nest near the top of a middle sized tree
The female lay brown dotted eggs from six down to three
In Spring their numbers seem to multiply
And by Summer their young self sufficent are well able to fly
Of Most birds in thinking they seem far ahead
In water to soften to eat i have seen them dip hard crusty bread
If someone told me this i would say they were telling me lies
But this i have witnessed with my own eyes
In their range they are birds to everyone that are known
And at problem solving they are in a class of their own.
