In a Human world where millions for attention and success compete
The humble of mind one does not often meet
In this twenty first century so many their own praises does sing
Narcissism it has become quite an in thing
The narcissistic sort fame and recognition desire
But they are the sort i for one cannot admire
Most of their sort sad to say does lack in empathy
And for those doing it tough cannot feel sympathy
They are a pleasure to know of the compassionate and kind
Since they are not narcissistic and are humble of mind
In the twenty first century of advanced technology the humble of mind are few
And this is not saying anything that is new
In the Human World of the twenty first century narcissism seems rife
And humility is losing to a new way of life.
