What Is Life About At All

We have been learning from life before we learned how to crawl
But of life for a moment have you ever wondered at all
What it is about since the great to the small
Eventually like the leaves of the deciduous trees to Nature's reaper must fall

You crave material wealth and Worldly renown
And you want to be known as the most successful one in the town
With many others for this honor you do compete
Such competition that takes place in every street

But when all you dream of in life you achieve
And from life what you ask for you do receive
And your big ego to a far bigger one swell
You suddenly feel physically quite unwell

Your doctor refer you to a health consultant and her diagnosis for you worse than sad
In fact her news for you it is very bad
That you have a terminal illness you may be deceased in two years
Your wife and teenage children at your bad news in tears

From the height of achievements and the pride in your success
To sickness on death list and in great unhappiness
