Where the birds chirp and whistle in the gray of sundown
And sing in the dawning to welcome the day
Even from urban dwellers Nature not far away
Nature's creatures reside near to where humans live
Though from our Earth Mother we take more than to her we does give
Wherever there is grass and a bush and a tree
wild creatures of Nature you surely will see
For the Earth that does feed us so few seem to care
One reason some creatures of Nature are becoming rare
A World without birdsong the voice of the Spring
To contemplate even is such a sad thing
Even where factories abound and there is little green
The wildlife of Nature it is to be seen.
