Many of Duhallow's and Sliabh Luachra's devout Catholics go to Tubrid to pray
Of miracles at Tubrid as a boy i did hear
But this in time is going back many a year
I cannot say whether or whether not these stories were true
Or if any sort of credence to them it is due
Whether they were miracles at Tubrid not for me to say
Though i never did bear witness to such anyway
The Spring water in Tubrid Well in Claraghatlea just west of the Town of Millstreet
With the best drinking water anywhere would easily compete
To see it bubbling up from the stone bed of the Well quite a beautiful sight
Water that looks so clean and crystal clear when seen in the sunlight
Of miracles at Tubrid ask one other than me
Since i only can truly believe what i see
We all treat such stories in our ways differently
And of Miracles at Tubrid who knows well Maybe?
