The day it is breezy and showery and cool
A weather forecast high for the day of seventeen degrees
And a non seasonal coolness in the coastal breeze
Between Warrnrambool City and Koroit Town
The paddocks are greening last month they were bare, dry and brown
Mother Earth looking healthier after recent Autumn rain
Though the dams remain low in water and bone dry every drain
In late April beyond mid Autumn and Winter so near
The weather can be changeable at this time of year
Though every shower it is quite welcome indeed
Of more rainfall the Moyne Shire is badly in need
Last week we had days of thirty degrees the weather acting strange
But then we are in the age of Climate Change.
