The Need To Be Liked

That anybody does not wish to be irrelevant in the Human World of today
Is something that is only true for to say
Though some feel no great desire for lots of money and fame
The need to be liked is in most just the same

Even the humblest of people of any city or town
Who never feel any desire for great wealth and renown
And their own praises to others never do sing
Does not wish to be irrelevant this is a human thing

The words of a wise person i do recall
that the need to be liked it is in us all
Even the most humble of people at being ignored can take offense
That anybody does not wish to be irrelevant makes for common sense

The wish to be liked is a natural human feeling indeed
Even the shyest of people have in them the need
Not to be seen as irrelevant the words of a wise one i recall
That this need to be liked it is in us all
