Where life it is lived at a leisurely pace
No factory chimney puffing smoke to the sky
On the Henty Highway with the ocean nearby
Of this beautiful place more of i would like to know
Near where the Glenelg River into the Pacific flow
A small coastal town in the pine forested countryside
To it's friendly residents a source of great pride
Though ours in the little town just a brief stay
Of Nelson one should not have any negative things for to say
We were there for more than an hour on a nice evening in May
In a nice place to live in or spend a holiday
Though i may never visit Nelson again
Fond memories of it's beauty i will retain.
