But the one with many friends may not be without foes
And though your friends in numbers may well grow and grow
You cannot make a friend of everyone you does know
You may be looked on as a success to many in the town
But there is always a few in their words to drag you down
Not one who is all things to all people in the World of today
This is how it is and will always be this way
You may be a nice person compassionate and kind
But there are always a few that flaws in you will find
Human relationships in some ways like a team in games of football
Who are often winners but does not win them all
In life some have to lose for others to gain
