And this is not saying anything that is new
At the praises of others the big egos do swell
The look at me syndrome is alive and well
Many of those who look up to celebrities on others look down
For the few who are admired there are many admirers in every town
These things known as self confidence and self importance are linked to the ego true to say
The egotistical kind are not rare in the Human World of today
Yet the praises of the one who makes everyone equal you never hear anyone sing
To anyone the Reaper of lives joy never bring
The one who claims the lives of the financially down
And the wealthy and famous of every town
What you do for yourself says less as a person about you
Than the good things for other people that you do.
