Warrnambool In Early June

The day it is windy and on the side of cool
In south west Victoria's coastal City known as Warrnambool
The nature strips looking green after the recent rain
After the recent long dry spell Nature stands to gain
The flute like songs always so pleasant to hear
Of the birds who do sing every day of the year
The black and white Australian magpies of ways of their own
In the southern Land their sort are widely known
In the City centre blowing from Lady Bay
The sea breezes they are quite gusty today
But in Warrnambool which is widely known for it's often freshening breeze
Even in Winter the weather temperatures do seldom drop to zero degrees
A cool breeze through the City Blowing from Lady Bay
But in Warrnambool the magpies are singing today.
