What we do to our Earth Mother to our own selves we do
Since she is the one who does feed all
Of us humans as well as all people from the great to the small
Mother Earth who supplies us with food and with water to drink
On the way us humans treat her we need a rethink
That Nature is suffering due to human environmental practices not hard to understand
In the pollution of air and sea, waterways and land
For our human survival on Mother Earth we depend
Yet we do not treat her as our greatest friend
Due to human induced carbon emissions the weather is acting strange
And this it is in a time of climate Change
Mother Earth is our greatest friend in truth one can say
But we do not treat her as a friend in any sort of a way.
