The Young Man Without Fear

The funeral bell for him he did not hear
He was buried this morning the young man without fear
His parents, siblings, girlfriend and friends at his graveside in tears
So young for to die only twenty years

The young man who loved speed luck with him did not last
This often does happen for those who drive too fast
On a narrow roadway at speed he could not negotiate a bend
His car crashed against a big tree and brought his life to an end

One does need some fear in life to survive
If he had some today he would be alive
Those who dice with death never live to grow old
Life's end can come early for the fearless and bold

Suppose he was born for to live a short life
He did not live to father children and make his girlfriend his wife
There is a lesson in his death for those who wish to heed
You are dicing with death when you are driving at speed

The dreams he had in life he did not live to achieve
Those near and dear to him his passing left to grieve
A narrow bend on the road he could not negotiate
As he was driving too fast speed did seal his fate.
