When the last breath of life from the last of my generation has finally gone
Life on Planet Earth will surely go on
Though many of our achievements may be lauded as great
On our negative impact on our natural environment nothing for us to celebrate
Nothing for humanity to feel proud of on our treatement of the one who feeds us all
Though our contributions to life compared to her achievements seem small
From our earth Mother the one we depend on for to live
We take and we take and in return to her nothing give
To our Earth Mother the one on whom for everything we depend
We do not treat her as we should as our greatest friend
For our abuse of our Earth Mother future generations of people will pay
For the pollution and abuse of her resources by us the living of today
From the earth Mother who feeds us and we depend on to live
