Galahs the cockatoos in feathers of pink and gray
Their calling in flight is quite pleasant to hear
And though not very shy of human beings they are cautious and hold a healthy fear
In a tree cavity the females birds lay
Two to three eggs of white to pale gray
Out of their breeding Season in large flocks them one often does see
They are birds who does have a large territory
They are mostly birds of the countryside
And are familiar to people Australia wide
Among Australia's best known parrots they always call when in flight
And on roadsides eating spilt grain they are a common sight
They are birds I see often sometimes every day
Galahs the cockatoos in feathers of pink and gray.
