From Victoria's rural City of Ararat
At twenty seven in his physical prime
He has not been back home for quite some time
On the highways he has driven up and down
And he has worked in many a city and many a town
On building sites and pipelines for him no easy pay
One who always does it in the hard way
Far too unsettled for to have a wife
Though he has had many women in his life
Love making to him it is nothing new
Of sexual affairs he has had quite a few
Dark haired and handsome broad shouldered and tall
Beside him big men do look rather small
Yet he never shows any signs of aggression at all
He is one who has never been in a pub brawl
One who does never find it hard to smile
He has not been in Ararat for awhile
On his muscular body not one gram of fat
Hard work comes easy to Ararat's Matt.
