That you feel rather sad quite unable to smile
Makes you envy those who manage to smile every day
Though the lady of luck may not be smiling their way
Suppose in life we all have our good days and bad
Our happy times often can fade to the sad
But contentment at all times by so few ever known
Not many who do not have worries of their own
That this is part of being human happens to be so
To most of us the moods to our minds do come and do go
From the words of a wise woman i knew as a boy
The happy days in your life feel free to enjoy
You are one of many on your side of the town
Who have those days when they are mentally down.
