At Life's Journey's End

In humanity no such a thing as a superior breed
Since red is the blood we all shed when we bleed
We are all born as mortals and all mortals do die
The same for the wealthy celebrities as for you and i
For all of us there is this last living night and day
Death is the great equalizer in truth one can say
Everyday Life's Reaper claims the lives of people Worldwide
From the one with the scythe of death there is nowhere to hide
You may be born to die young or live to die old
And you may be one whose life story Worldwide may be told
Or you may die as a person only known to a few
That life's big winners are not many is not saying anything that is new
But the Reaper of lives who treats none as a friend
Makes all people equal at life's journey's end.
