I Feel Rather Lucky

I feel rather lucky in truth i can say
In the amazing wildlife i see every day
Koalas and echidnas and gray kangaroos
And emus and wallabies, corellas and cockatoos
And of the black and white birds who sing all through the year
The warbling of the magpies i often does hear
And the birds who build a nest of mud on fork of branch of tree
The magpie larks singing their familiar pee wee
Though here to many mine is a stranger's face
I feel lucky to live in this beautiful place
Where i learn from Nature something new every day
In life we never stop learning only true to say
I feel rather privileged few as lucky as me
In the amazing wildlife every day i do see.
