We do not own the Earth we live on but to the Earth we do belong
It is true on our very survival OnMother Earth we do depend
We insult the one who does feed us though she to us is our best friend
For her hidden treasures us humans with big machinery dig out big holes in the ground
Human damage to our Earth Mother's garden in most places is to be found
Yet she is the one who does feed us as well as all creatures from the great to the small
We abuse her in our greedfor money as so few of us respect her at all
Every wrong we do to our Earth Mother a wrong to our own selves we do
This does apply to everybody and everybody includes me and you
On our abuse of the Earth that does feed us for our own extinction we are planting the seed
Our marvellous and Beautiful Earth Mother of many more humans friends is in need
When we do abuse and insult her we are abusing our greatest friend
On her for our very existence as a race of people we depend.
