The Will To Live In You

Have you ever felt you do not have a friend
And thought of bringing your life to a premature end
But that life is your greatest gift is not a lie
And the will to live in most people stronger than the wish to die

Some doing it tough in life who believe they were not born to win
To their wish to die did eventually give in
The greatest gift they had they did give away
That death is so final only true to say

But most through their toughest times in life battle on
And though any hope of success from them has all but gone
The will to live in them is far from dead
And they retain the faint hope of better times ahead

You do feel suicidal and financially and mentally down
One of the poorest in your side of the town
Yet the will to live in you does live on
And you retain the faint hope that your worst days have gone.
