And the warbling of the magpies just after sundown
And the cawings of the dark little ravens on the tall headland trees
Their sharp calling carrying in the freshening breeze
My wonderment of Nature only seems to grow
Though so little of her ways i can claim of to know
Of her we do learn something new every day
In Nature as in life it is always this way
Her secrets are many and her wonders not few
And every day of her we learn something new
The Beauty in Nature to view it is free
One of the few things in life we need not pay for to see
In the twilight the magpies larks are singing their familiar pee wee
Where Earthly Utopia is not far from me.
