The workers the backbone of every city and town
The women and men as the working class known
The people who are in a class of their own
The people who work hard for their living pay
Without them the economies of the World would crumble today
To an honest existence they remain ever true
Yet they never receive the credit they are due
For every community they do more than their share
Without them there would not be a billionaire
In the progress of humanity a huge part they do play
The backbone of the Human World of them one can say
As ever they remain the unsung heroines and heroes of people Worldwide
Though true greatness of them cannot be denied.
