A September Day

The wild birds of Nature chirp, whistle and sing
On this beautiful evening in the early Spring
The sun shining bright in a sky blue and gray
It is such a marvelous September day
The song of the blackbirds so pleasant to hear
They does sing their finest at this time of year
Australia's supreme song birds quite a common sight
In their breeding Season the magpies does sing day and night
Their nesting territories with aggression they does defend
Even human beings they mob they treat none as a friend
How pleasant to hear the song of the pee wee
His mate on her nest brooding her eggs nearby on a branch of a tree
In the southern Country such a pleasant Spring day
And much warmer weather cannot be far away.
