They do seem newsworthy it does seem this way
Out of stories of their love affairs and infidelities glossy magazine publishers do financially well
To their many fans and admirers news of them readily sell
But since they are the objects of so much admiration due to their money and fame
That for their swollen egos them one hardly can blame
Too much attention and admiration gives rise to those who feel they are superior kind
And leaves no space for humility in the admired one's mind
Were I like them in the news everyday perhaps I too would be
As egotistical as they are without one trace of humility
Of an average sized ego anyone should be of in need
That I am one without admirers I feel lucky indeed
Many of them so egotistical those of money and fame
But for their swollen egos their fans are to blame.
