A lesson of wisdom from the days of old
The winners write the history as we have been told
And only the winners remembered by name
Their reward for winning is enduring fame
Though they may have achieved victory in the foulest way
The winners in war are remembered today
Their murderous troops guilty of many a crime
But they are remembered through the decades of time
Criminal war leaders with darkness of soul
On unarmed enemy civilians their murderous armies took toll
Today in their Countries their names on every memorial wall
It is the winners who write the history after all
The difference between winning and losing can be great
Their own history for themselves the winners create
For losers there is never a victory parade
From history they are allowed for to fade
It is the winners write the history would you not agree
This is how it is and how it always will be
The most of the glory goes to those who have won
It is a winners Human World when all is said and done.
