A big responsibility comes to you with fame
When so many people do know you by name
One of the few known of and admired far beyond your hometown
And your fame has transcended the local renown
So many of the famous too many to name
Who became tainted people and ended their days in shame
Though for awhile they basked in the glory of what in life they desired
But they ended up in the no longer admired
The used to be famous are not of the few
And this is not saying anything that is new
And though wealth and fame are the things that most would choose
Those who do have them have most to lose
Fame it will enhance your public esteem
But it does not come without responsibility is how it does seem.
