Life is the greatest gift you do possess
No greater than life seems true to say
Without it you would not be living today
No greater thing than it one could name
It is far greater than any money or fame
Some may well tell you of glory in death
But the bravest does fight for their last living breath
Though hope for a future in them all but gone
In the terminally ill the desire to live does live on
Of the praises of a noble death many may sing
But the great gift of life is such a wonderful thing
Far greater than any other form of success
A greater gift than anyone can wish to possess.
