Just another Saturday and you feeling quite tired
And to do anything you do not feel inspired
Your children in the lounge room with their toys do play
Whilst you on the couch in a lethragic mood lay
Your wife preparing lunch in the kitchen though you do not feel hungry today
Just tired from a week of working hard for your pay
Too tired to go for a walk or even watch t v
Only on Saturday and Sunday to rest you are free
With a wife and children to support in a financial way
That life is not always easy only true to say
During the week at work much energy you expend
And you always look forward to your restful weekend
At work you expend most of your energy
And you look forward to the weekend since for rest you are free
Your children in the lounge room with their toys do play
Whilst stretched on the couch lethargic you lay
